Shocking news comes today as two announcement comes from one top defensive back recruit who has seen his recruitment take off this year in 2023 Waxahachie cornerback Calvin Simpson Hunt announcing his de-commitment from Texas Tech and commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The commitment comes after garnishing plenty of attention this year after a spectacular season in 2021. Before the beginning of this year. Hunt had only one offer respectively to the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and committed to them last November of 2021.
We have Calvin ranked high on our board and you can tell we knew Calvin was a special talent at the beginning of year in our first 2023 defensive back rankings and until recently in our Re-rankings.
After taking off this year Calvin gained nearly all of his 24 total division I offers before ultimately committing to the Buckeyes.
