Jalen Shelley, Lone Star (6’5″, 170)

How They Play

Klein Forest four-star receiver Jelani Watkins is a lethal player with the ball in his hands. With his amazing speed, Watkins is able to make some pretty incredible football moves and make defenders miss in the open field. At his age, his talent is unmatched, and looks he will be one of the very best for years to come. Holds an early offer too to the Aggies.

Lake Belton wide-receiver Micah Hudson already checks off all of the boxes as being an elite wide receiver. His speed, athleticism, route running, hands, and football moves all make him a matchup night mire. Shows tremendous awareness of the field and can gas defenders. The film never lies and this receiver is a star and will be one of the highly recruited in his class. Holds offers too Baylor, Pitt & UTSA.

Ladies and gentlemen do not sleep on Andre Thompson from Manvel This receiver could easily be on top of this list. He shows tremendous ability to pick up yards after the catch because of his blazing speed. Could easily be one of the fastest on the list. Thompson also shows elite route running abilities and the ability to make big plays look routine. Holds some of the most offers totaling 7 Offers from schools like the University of Miami, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and others.

Tamarcus Gray from Texas High School passes the eye test out on the field and is no slouch in his game either. He’s got a long-athletic frame that he uses to his advantage to pluck the ball out of the air and or box out defenders in the endzone and can score at will. I liked his speed, hands, long arms, and vertical ability. Tamarcus is one to watch this season.

Jason Robinson should put out some amazing tape this season and he could easily be one player who has a breakout year and surpass some of these receivers on this list. Holds early offers from Arizona State, and Pitt. Just moved from California Long Beach Poly to Texas and should be one to recognize in this Texas 2024 class.

Elysian Fields High School Bradan Manning looks like a star outside receiver who is a strong NO.1 or 2 out there on the field. He has tremendous size and ability already for being so young. He’s got that big-time play-making ability to light up the scoreboard anytime he touches the football. I love this receiver and undoubtedly will be one you hear more of this season.

Last but certainly not least is 6’5″ receiver from Frisco Lone Star Jalen Shelley. Holds one early offer to Nevada and not too many films but one prospect we know will be special to watch this season.
