Summers Recruiting Trail: ’24 recruits to know on the rise

As the summer recruiting season heats up, coaches around the country are keeping a close eye on the class of 2024 recruits on the rise in Texas High School football. These young prospects are making a name for themselves on the recruiting trail, and college programs are taking notice. Here are some of the top recruits in the class of 2024 that coaches should be watching out for: ( not ranked in order) 

  1. Stephen Gill Jr., QB, St.Johns – A quarterback from St. John’s who has been impressing coaches with his arm strength, accuracy, and field vision.
  2. Preston Honeycutt, OL, Hutto – An offensive lineman from Hutto who has been showing off his versatility and athleticism by playing both tackle and interior offensive line positions.
  3. CJ Miller, LB, Anna – A middle linebacker from Anna who has been dominating on defense with his physicality, instincts, and tackling ability.
  4. Jed Olotu-Judah, DB, Katy – A defensive back from Katy who has been shutting down opposing receivers with his speed, agility, and coverage skills. Jed has been receiving offers this season and his recruitment has heated up and taken off. 
  5. Aiden Kaplan, OL, Lake Creek – An offensive lineman from Lake Creek who has been showcasing his strength, technique, and versatility by playing multiple positions on the offensive line.
  6. Lane Stockton, QB, Tomball Memorial – A quarterback from Tomball Memorial who has been impressing coaches with his pocket presence, decision-making, and accuracy.
  7. Ty Brown, QB, Waco Midway – A quarterback from Waco Midway who has been showing off his arm strength, mobility, and playmaking ability.
  8. Blake Holt, LB, Tomball Memorial – A linebacker from Tomball Memorial who has been making plays all over the field with his physicality, speed, and tackling ability.
  9. Antonio Meza, QB, SA Warren – A quarterback from Warren who has been showing off his arm talent, accuracy, and poise under pressure.
  10. Anthony Rodriguez, OL, Hutto – An offensive lineman from Hutto who has been impressing coaches with his size, strength, and technique.
  11. Jaylen Petty, LB, Connally – A linebacker from Connally who has been dominating on defense with his physicality, speed, and tackling ability.
