Today we kick off the start of a series we will be running all month long.

The “Spring Season Stock Riser’s” showcases some of the top prospects at each position, offense and defense in the 2023 and 2024 classes that are either heating up on the recruiting trail, picking up offers, visit invites, and a lot of interest from college programs around the country.

So for now, we kick off with the 2023 running-backs and will be alternating between random positions throughout the rest of the month so stay tuned who are some of the top guys making names for themselves and heating up in the 2023 and 2024 classes all April long.

Top Risers

Katy running back, Seth Davis, is arguably one of the top risers in his class and at running back, Davis had only 4 Division I offers at the start of 2022. Since then—along came thirteen total divisions I offers to add to his list before recently committing to the Duke Blue Devils. The star Katy running back had some of the most prestigious schools in the country after him after a most impressive junior season where Davis turned a lot of heads and sparked a lot of interest.

Klein Forest running back, Parker Jenkins. No other running back has taken off more or raised his stock more so than Jenkins who had an impressive showcasing his junior season, to say the least. Since then his recruitment in 2022 has taken off. To give you a better picture, Jenkins only had two division I offers at the start of January from Buffalo and Texas Southern University respectively. Since then Jenkins has taken off, and can now go and play anywhere in the country he would want to go. Literally– with his 27 total division I offers a list we suspect to see going, Jenkins has picked up offers from schools like Cal, Tennessee, SMU, Ole Miss, and LSU to name a few. Really exploded onto the scene once words got out that the skills and running ability this prospect has are elite and next-level ready.

No longer “Under-the-Radar”

Largely under the radar we’re the following running 2023 running back prospects: Ridge Point’s running back Ezell Jolly, North Crowley’Dejuan Lacy, Taft’s TJ Andrews, Mineola’s Dawson Pendergrass, and  Lancaster running back Kyson Brown. All of whom have turned around their recruiting this spring and made their names known to many.

Heating up with offers

Ezell has recently picked up offers from Tulane and Army, Dejuan recently also picked up some offers this spring from Kansas State and Texas State to add to his 4 total offers and other interest, TJ Andrews  – has picked an offer from Army last season and we suspect more to come after picking up offers from UIW and UTSA last year; Dawson Pendergrass in 2021 was a Texas 5-3A-first-team all-district at running back as a junior and since then has been able to spur his recruitment picking up offers from Sam Houston, ULM, Our force, Indiana, and Colorado State most recently this spring; Last but certainly not least is a beast of a running back in Kyson Brown, who is an explosive back for Lancaster out of the backfield and has recently picked up offers from SMU ad the Navy Midshipmen.

Keep an eye out for some of these recruits who are quickly emerging as some of the top prospects in their class and for others we will be presenting to you all month long.
