SAN ANTONIO – Madison came out firing on all cylinders. On offense, they were marching the ball down the field with QB Caden Mata.
Also running back was finding some open holes in the defense. Showing some great vision making some quick cuts and taking the ball up the ball for some positive yards.
Linebacker Isaiah Edwards was showing why he was one of our 2022 All-State Defensive players going into this season for us. He was laying the lumber all night on ball carriers. You could tell Edwards missed football as he was swarming to the football all night.
The Madison football team has plenty to look forward to this season as their team’s strong performance in the 0-0 victory over Clemens gives them a great start for the start of the season going 1-0.
As for Clemens they will look to rebound and add a tally to the win column next week.
