Today I bring you the top defensive backs that could be making impacts for their respective teams this season and be picking up more interest in regards to their recruiting.

Some are committed others are not. Either way, we believe these recruits are some of the best to know going into this Texas high school football season.

Warren Roberson – Red Oak

Roberson has some of the most interest from colleges going into this season with 28 offers but is still on the market as an uncommitted recruit. USC could be strong contenders like others that have offered kike Alabama, Florida, and LSU to name a few. Roberson is an athlete who can dominate all three phases of the game on offense, defense, and special teams but projects to play secondary at the next level.

Bravion Rodgers – La Grange

Rodgers , a previously Texas A&M commit recently opened back up his recruitment and is one of the most highly rated and recruited players on this list.

Carter Stoutmire – Prestonwood Christian

Committed to Arizona with only 8 offers. Carter could pick up more interest this season. He’s a track start and terrific athlete who has a football pedigree. Father is a former D1 athlete and ex-NFL safety that played a decade in the league.

Lamdorick Spencer- Duncanville

Still uncommitted, Spencer has 8 total division I offers from schools like Arkansas, Louisville, and others. The commitment date is set for August 17th in case any school wanted to make a last-minute push for of Duncanville’s best in the defensive backfield this season along with others.

Cayden Fortson – Sabine

Cayden is an average size DB at 5-10, 175lbs. However, his talent is phenomenal. Cayden was able to earn 6A first-team all-district in 2021. In his two seasons as a starter, Cayden has 87 tackles, 10 PBUs, 9 INTS, 2 FF, and 1 fumble recovery.

That is it for now. We may come back and add more details about the other players. So check back with us this week to get the scoop on the recruitment of some of the other players who made our list
