Houston – This was a well-fought game between both Cy Springs and Katy Taylor. Both teams put up a great fight offensively and defensively.

It was neck-and-neck through the last minutes of the 4th quarter for both teams playing within a touchdown of each other seemingly the entire game.

Cy springs had many weapons offensively and have a fantastic-looking offensive line that can open up some holes for their playmakers like in wide receiver JT Curtis.  Curtis is a multi-sport athlete who doesn’t have much film but is a player to know this season. This guy showed some amazing athleticism catching and running with the football in the open field. He’s going to be a special player this season and one to keep your eye on for Cy Springs.

A few other players to know for Cy Springs who we think will make an impact this season is senior running back Cameron White, athlete and running back Marc Bailey, wide receiver Ashton Blake, and defensive end Chuka Nweobu.

However good offensively Cy Springs was, Katy Taylor’s defensive kept on showing up, never gave up, and kept on making some big-time plays in clutch moments. The defense looked good as a good collectively and the defensive backs were making plays on the passes all night.

Offensively they looked strong and some players that really impressed me were running back, wide receiver Michael Witaker, running back Dante Archie, and the offensive line was also impressive as well.

Katy Taylor George Ranch next week and will look to keep their winning streak alive. As for Cy Springs, they will face humble next week and look to rebound from this week’s loss but well-fought game.
