Houston 2nd Round Standout Recruits

HOUSTON – The standout recruits from the 2nd Round of Texas High School football playoffs can be found here.

There was a few shocking upsets and team wins that over came a ton of adversity to will their teams for a shot at a state title.We give you some of the most impressive recruits performances and stats from across the state of Texas.

 

 

Rueben Owens(23) RB, El Campo

El Campo defeated Lindale 56-42. Five-star running back Rueben Owens ran for 324 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries. He also caught one pass for 38 yards.

Johntre Davis (22) RB, El Campo

McNeese State commit added 147 yards and three scores on 14 carries.

 

Marquise Collins (23) RB, College Station 
College Station beat Frisco Lone Star 55-21. Junior running back Marquise Collins ran for 304 yards and six touchdowns on 32 carries.

 

Jeremy Payne (24) RB, Fort Bend Hightower
Fort Bend Hightower beat Georgetown 45-29. Sophomore Jeremy Payne ran for 223 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries.

 

Cardell Williams (22) QB, Spring Westfield 
Spring Westfield defeated Klein Oak 34-14. Tulsa commit Cardell Williams was 18-30 passing for 273 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He added 48 yards and a score on eight carries.

 

PJ Hatter (23) QB, Klein Oak 
In the loss, junior PJ Hatter was 5-12 passing for 49 yards while also running for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.

 

Xavier Owens Jr. (22) RB, North Shore
North Shore defeated Clear Springs 42-13. Xavier Owens Jr. ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.

 

David Amador (23) WR, North Shore
Junior David Amador had seven catches for 119 yards and a touchdown.

 

Ky Woods (22) RB, Clear Springs
In the loss, Ky Woods ran for 130 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

 

Jerrell Wimbley (22) RB, Houston C.E. King 
Houston C.E. King beat Shadow Creek 52-34. Jerrell Wimbley ran for 312 yards and five touchdowns on 29 carries.

 

Bert Emanuel Jr. (22) QB, Fort Bend Ridge Point
Fort Bend Ridge Point beat Cy-Fair 41-20. Bert Emanuel Jr. completed 8 of 20 of his passes for 118 yards while also running for 155 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.

Ezell Jolly (23) RB, Fort Bend Ridge Point
Junior Ezell Jolly ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.

 

Will Hargett (24) QB, A&M Consolidated
A&M Consolidated beat Barbers Hill 41-35. Freshman Will Hargett was 15-21 passing for 240 yards and a touchdown. Hargett also added 21 yards and two scores on 8 carries.

Keshun Thomas (24) RB, A&M Consolidated
Sophomore Keshun Thomas ran for 146 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries.

 

Conner Weigman (22) QB, Bridgeland
Bridgeland defeated The Woodlands College Park 35-28. Five-star Texas A&M commit Conner Weigman was 19-33 passing for 206 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.He also ran for 96 yards and a score on 14 carries.

 

Cody Mladenka (22) TE, Bridgeland
In the loss, Baylor tight end commit Cody Mladenka had six catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Cale Hellums (22) QB, Tomball
Tomball beat Willis 37-7. Army commit Cale Hellums had two touchdowns in this game and nearly 200 yards of offense, Cale threw for 95 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 111 yards and a score.

 

De’Monte Seymore (22) RB, Manvel 
Manvel defeated Pflugerville Weiss 41-31. De’Monte Seymore ran for 381 yards and four touchdowns on 38 carries.

 

Isaiah King (22), Manvel 
King caught three passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in Manvel’s defeat against Pflugerville.
