In Little Elm,Texas is one of the nations top defensive recruits in the nation in senior defensive back Terrance Brooks. Rated a fours star player and as the NO.8th ranked defensive back in the nation and in the the top 20 players at any position in all of the nation according to 247 sports.

The longhorns land a big time commitment from a former Ohio State commit in Brooks; with over 40 division I offers Brooks could have played any where in the country at some of the nations most elite programs.

Brooks took many visits this past summer to try and figure out a new place that he would be calling home and taking his academic and athletic career for the next four years. He took visit to the University of  Oregon, Flordia, Texas Longhorns,Ohio State, and Alabama . After words he made his decision to take his talents to the Buckeyes of Ohio State and committed that same month in June when he took all of those visits.

Brooks choose to stay home and keep is talents in the state and play for Texas Longhorns over many others. Shows credit to the effort put in by head coach Steve Sarkisian and staff to try to keep all of the top talent in the state.
