HOUSTON – One of the most anticipated decisions son the day has been this signing and commitment right here.

Much speculation has gone into where one of the nation’s best offensive linemen in the country in Atascocita’s  2022 Kam Dewberry would pick to counties his academic and athletic career at the next level. The wait is over, Dewberry is committed to the aggies.

The top three for Kam include Texas, Oklahoma, and of course the Texas A&M Aggies. The fight to keep the star offensive linemen in the state between the Aggies and Longhorns has been a tough one with Texas’s head coach Steve Sarkisian giving forth his best effort in recruiting and building a relationship with Dewberry.

However, it wasn’t enough to edge the completion in head coach Jimbo Fisher and staff who have been full-court pressed when it comes to Dewberry. Fisher made an in-home visit to Kam at the beginning of the month on December 1st followed by the longhorns a few days after that with Sarkisian and Kyle Flood, Texas offensive line coach stopping by personally to see Dewberry.

Kam is one of the most athletically gifted offensive linemen in his class who has the build as a next-level athlete already and can play like one also. His ability to pull around and kick out the edge or block out in space is one of the things that made Kam very special. A very nasty blocker who seeks to put opponents in the dirt. Technique-wise, Kam is solid and has received some of the best coaching at Atascocita high school. The future impact could be immediate, Kam could come in and produce right away as a starter for the Aggies, and be a dominant force.
