Some times it can be hard sifting through all of the stats and numbers so we do it for you. Each week we take a look at some of the standout players who have games and traits that catch our eyes. Here are some of the top gunslinger recruits in the DFW area who are making their names known week in and week out.

Brenner Cox (22) – Rock Hill

Even though his team lost in tough defeat , Cox still had himself an impressive game. He was able to put up 322 yards passing , 2 touchdowns and only 1 INT on the night. He’s a Texas Longhorn baseball commit who can rip the football on the gridriron and on the baseball on the diamond.

Jackson Arnold (22) – Guyer

Arnold as been lights-out for Guyer this year and helping his team to some victories. This quarterback has a strong accurate arm and has no problem finding the endzone. He lead his team to a 37-6 victory over Lake Ridge last week. Holds 11 division I offers to schools like Arkansas, Ole Miss, TCU and others.

Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi (22) – Aledo

Nicolosi has been one of the most impressive QBs in the DFW area so far this season leading his team to three straight victories. Nicolosi has nice touch on all of his passes and has a favorite target in Oklahoma commit tight end Jason Llewellyn. Brayden flashes impressive timing and mechanics on all of his throws and is a quarterback who can will his team to win. Committed to the Nevada Wolf Pack.

Jacob Robinson (23)| 6’1″ 175 |  Argyle

Robinson is a dual threat QB that can sling it. A safety converted to quarterback, Robinson looks like a natural and  he can work the pocket and drive the team down the field. He shows some elite athleticism avoiding pressure in the pocket. He can make defenses pay and take off down field with his speed and agility. He also shows a lot of velocity on throws, he can rifle passes to receivers and doesn’t have to set his feet to deliver a strike.

Gage Roy(22) | 6’2″ 185 |  Dallas Jesuit

Roy was vey impressive last week. He showed off his ability to hit receivers in stride deep down field and work the pocket smooth as butter. This QB has some really good mechanics and is just as impressive throwing outside of the pockets as he is staying in. Holds a few offers already and I expect him to have breakout senior campaign. Definitely a quarterback to know this season.

Matthew Allen (22) | 5’10” 200 | DeSoto

Allen was hooking up with receivers all night long and showed some amazing timing with his recievers. Although a little undersized, Allen can really sling the football and move the ball down field. He shows he can rifle the ball in between tight coverage or take a little off and float one into the end zone.

Nick Evers (22) , Flower Mound

The Florida gators commit flexed his speed and arm strength in this game and was vey impressive. Evers played really good and had some impressive deep throws down the middle of the field, worked the pocket smoothly and was able to avoid pressure

Ethan Lollar – Frisco Memorial

Kaden Anderson (23) – Southlake Carroll

No one is having more of a break out season than this quarterback right here. Once he made his season debut on ESPN and has been able to torch defenses week and week out since. I would say Anderson is a must know QB. His mechanics , throwing motion and body size are comparable to that of NFL QB Andrew Luck. Yes he is that special, Anderson will undoubtedly have 20-3o plus offers and stars to go along with it by the end of this season or the next.

Ryder Lambert (23) – Stephenville

Honorable Mentions

Alex Orji (22) – Sachse

Samson Nazarko (22) – Mckinney

Sam Fennegan (22) – Melissa

Brennan Storer (23), Highland park
