Forney, TX – 2024 safety Aaron Flowers has committed to Oregon. He announced his commitment to Dan Lanning and the Ducks on Friday, he chose the Ducks over Alabama, Oklahoma, USC, and others.

A 6-0, 190-pound defensive back, Flowers his name know and has been named a first-team all-district cornerback each of the last two seasons.

Flowers took multiple visits to Oregon this spring as well as trips to Oregon, USC, Alabama and Arkansas in March before making his decision.

Oregon continues to dominate in the state of Texas after signing six recruits from Texas in 2023, wide receiver Ashton Cozart, edge rusher Ashton Porter, and safety Tyler Turner to name a few. Flowers has been one of the Ducks’  top targets in the 2024 class. He’s the first defensive back to commit to Oregon in the class of 2024. He’s one of the highest-rated commits in Dan Lanning’s tenure

Flowers is a length defensive back that can knock down a lot of passes and or come up with interceptions. Also will play the ball as a run defender looking for the strip. A multi-sport athlete that competes in track and field, and that shows elite recovery speed, and agility tracking down wide receivers and making a play on the football.
