For now we bring you one of our top rated, and ranked 2024 defensive back from Hightower high school in Ephraim Dotson.
Evaluation
Dotson is a 5-foot-11 defensive back, who is lengthy with long arms and an athletic looking frame. Dotson can be considered as a ball hawking cornerback and a highly productive one at that who can trail receivers stride-for-stride, and track the football in the air to come up with big time plays, and stops. Shows he can play pressed, or floated off receivers, and get his head around when trailing them to track and attack the football in the air. Displays great field awareness, and keeps an eye on the quarterback so he can bait them into throwing his way and dive in front of passes or find them in the air to come up with INTs, or PBUs. In the open field you can count on Dotson coming up with a stop, his physical nature translates to his hard hitting open field tackling. Also a productive player on special teams who shows his high motor and pursuit to the football. We have Dotson ranked as one of the top corner back recruits in his class, and is just as good if not better than some above him on the list. Dotson has interest from many colleges but no offers at the moment, interest include schools like Baylor, SMU, Miami, Kansas State, Northwestern and others.
