KATY, Tx – Breaking news out of Katy Texas today, as Katy tigers star running back 2023 Seth Davis announced today via Twitter that he Has de-committed from Duke university and has opened up his recruitment back up one hundreds percent
Davis took to twitter to say âAfter Much Discussion With My Coaches, Friends, And Family I have Decided To DeCommit from Duke University ReOpening My Recruitment Options! Thanks To Coach Elko, Coach Johns, And Coach Taylor at Duke for the opportunity!â Davis said.
We recently featured Davis here at TD recruits and his commitment to Duke stating the reasoning and the journey behind the commitment. When you know what we knew then, the Davisâs recruitment was just starting to heat up and the decision to commit may have been premature â-obviously.
We reached out to Davis to get his side of the story, we havenât heard back yet, but if we do we will update this post.
Davis is a three star running back for the Katy tigers who had a break out Junior season and has picked up national interest from some of the top programs from around the country like the Florida gators, Cal, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and holds interest From some programs that may have led to this decision to decommits today. Programs like Clemson, Baylor, TCU, LSU, Oregon and others.
It will be interesting to see the timeframe of Davis recruitment with the new found national interest, the journey could last even through the end of next season.
