Head coach Jimbo Fisher and staff did a tremendous job staying in contact and in front of Perkins making him visit and visit s to his games. But the new wave of recruiting success the new regime over at LSU is experiencing had Harold thinking of taking his talents to back him to the state of Louisiana where he is from.

Perkins could have played anywhere in the country with his 33 Division I offers from schools like Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and Texas, to name a few. Many people thought Texas could have a fighting chance after the de-commit from the Aggies came from Perkins on January 24th of this year, just 20 days after he made his commitment to Texas A&M.

A few days later Perkins was on his way to Baton Rouge for an official visit at LSU. The visit, well obviously went well, and Perkins liked what he heard and saw from head coach Brian Kelly and staff.

Perkins is an athlete who has been dominant on both sides of the ball for a long time and will be one who can come in and make an early impact for LSU.
