WACO – The first half was dominated by the College Station Cougars and the running game lead by junior running back Marquise Collins and that offensive line never looked back after securing a 26-21 victory on the night.

The game was put in the hands of one of the best players on the offense on the night for College Station in running back Marquise Collins. The head coach put the ball in his hands , called his number when it counted the most on third down to secure the game late in the 4th, and —Collins came through big time on a 3rd down run.

The Cougars beat the raining state champions in Denton Ryan who played one heck of a great game and lead a serious come back in the second half, but unfortunately the three turn overs really hurt them in the first half and they were not able to answer recuperate or answer back with points.

Junior running back Kalib Hicks and wide reciever Austin Jordan did not let that Raider offense go down with out a fight, responding back to the panthers making the game a very close one down to the wire in the 4th quarter.

Without a doubt the player of the game was running back Marquie Collins with 3 touchdowns on the night including the nail in the coffin in the 4th quarter, 231 rushing yards , and the touchdown in the second half that sparked the rest of the game, as the game went on he got better, also really showed his speed and strength in the game.
