We are halfway through with the regular season and we have been following the top recruits all year long. Here are some of the top 2022,2023, 2024, and even 2025 quarterback recruits who have been torching defenses, lighting up scoreboards, and having themselves breakout seasons thus far.

Jackson Arnold (23) Denton Guyer

Jackson has been off to a terrific start of the season, leading his team back from some deficits and earning the win. No matter how you slice it, this quarterback can get the job done?.

Kaden Anderson (23) Southlake Carroll

Not many had bigger shoes to fill walking into this season than Anderson did and boy did he over-deliver. Comparable to an Andrew Luck play style, mechanics, and size, Anderson’s skills and attributes mimics Luck’s game in his own respective way. I see Anderson becoming one of the top recruits in his class at his position this season. Player of the year nominee? Is that too early to say?

Brennan Storer (23) Highland Park

Brennan is one of the top QBs in his class, with one of the more prolific arms and accuracy. Talk about a quarterback that checks off all the boxes. Look no further. Storer can make all the throws and is quickly rising to the top.

JT Fayard (23) Foster

Fayard is an FBS to Division I caliber athlete who has been having himself one of the best breakout seasons of all. This QB has great size, arm strength, and athletics. He is one of the leaders in passing in his district and in the state. JT is one QB who will end up with a few stars by his name and 20-30 division I offers plus by the end of his career.

Carson Rooper (22) Klein Cain

No other Senior QBS has had a better breakout season than Rooper. It’s entertaining to see this dual-threat quarterback play. Defenses have to account for the running game, the passing game, and Carson’s legs. If you rush too many he’ll throw it over top, if you don’t rush any at all, he might pick up the first down with his legs or even six points. Dangerous athlete with the ball in his hands.

Dyaln Raiola (24) Burleson

Dylan is one of the nation’s top quarterback recruits in the sophomore class with over 11 D1 offers this far. This young gunslinger is setting up headlines this season and making his name known across the country. Look for him to be special the rest of the season.

Mabrey Mettauer (24) The Woodlands

Mabrey looks like the football gods put this guy together. The 2024 class is stacked with talent and Mabrey is right up there at the top. I’ve got him as my NO. 1 QB recruit spot at that position and class. He is one who I think will be special for years to come at this level and the next. At 6’6 Mabrey passes the eye test already as a sophomore and does not disappoint in his play. Exciting athlete to watch play and sling the football around the field.

Jakoby Banks (22) Fort Bend Marshall

Jakoby is an athlete who has been special for fort bend marshall this season. Chris Marshall, Banks, and company look like an unstoppable force offensively this season. Has offers to Marshall, Pittsburg, and Texas A&M.

Bryce Fucik (23) Strake Jesuit

Fucik can sling the rock and is one QBs flying under the radar. He’s got great size, arm strength, and accuracy. Looks as comfortable throwing in the run as he does in the pocket. Great timing and decision-making paired with good mechanics on all of his throws.

Cole Francis (22) Tompkins

Cole has been another senior quarterback who is making a name for himself in his senior campaign. He’s an FBS-looking QB with some raw talent and ability, who I think could produce at the next level. Look for his recruiting stock to continue to rise this season.

Cornelius Banks (22) New Caney

Banks is a QB under the radar. He leads a strong offense in New Candy. The run and pass balance the eagles brings gives Banks’s the ability to showcase his skills.

Brady Dever (23) Fort Bend Christian Academy

Beady has been pinpoint this season and is racking up yards through the air in bunches. At 6’2 he’s got the size, arm strength, and physicality to be a really special quarterback. I really like the way he is playing this season.

Alexander Franklin (24) Lovejoy

Franklin is one of the up-and-coming QBs in the 2025 class who is one to keep your eye on. He is

JC Evans (24) Brandeis

At 6’4 and only a freshman last season when I met JC, I was very impressed not only with his physical nature but also the way he played on the field. For being so young he had no problem taking control of the offense and throwing bombs with great touch down the field. Very strong arm and is in the top 10 QB prospects in the 2024 cycle.

Austin Novasad (23) Dripping Springs

Austin is one of the best quarterbacks out of the central Texas area and in his class. Quickly rising in 2021, Novosad has seen his recruitment skyrocket even before the season started with a total of 10 Division I offers at the moment. This season, he’s been showing out with some eye-popping numbers and showtime performances. Will be special the rest of this year and at the next level.

Tanner Murray (22) Langham Creek

Murray has quickly emerged as a recruit to know this season. He holds five-division I offer to schools like Colorado State, Marshall, Rice, and San Diego State. It doesn’t hurt to have one of the top targets to sling the pigskin too in Star wideout Jaquaize Pettaway. The pair make for a lethal combination. Murray can put some velocity on throws and launch it easily 50 plus yards down the field.
