HOUSTON – Klein Forest 2023 top ranked and rated running back Parker Jenkins is committed to the Houston Cougars. Jenkins chose the Cougars over nearly 40 other division I schools like SMU, Northwestern, OSU, Boston College, and LSU who were among the few to make the top of his list.

Jenkins is staying home in the city of Houston and will be most certainly an impact player for Houston for years to come. We have Oarer ranked as the No. 2 running back in our 2023 running back re-rankings. Parker is a running back who can do it all on the football field and out of the backfield. In addition to being a football star, Parker is also dominant in track and field and is a very fast sprinter. One reason Parker is able to run or catch the football out of the backfield and often go untouched into the endzone.

Parker can mow the lawn on the football field and cut the field up with his later speed, change of direction and ability to make some pretty nasty open-field moves. Parker had would some would say a breakout season in his junior season showcasing his skills and talents for Klein Forest and making his name known to many across the nation late last season and early this year.
