The top tight ends in the state of Texas in the class of 2025 can be found here. We have a small group of some of the best recruits to know at the tight end positions. We will be adding to this last as we go and if we come across anyone else that we should know. For now, here are some of the best tight end recruits to know in the class of 2025.
#4.Davon Mitchell (25) | 6’4, 230 | TE | Allen
Mitchell looks to have the size and physicality plus speed and athleticism to develop into a special tight end for Allen who can block and score touchdowns. Will continue to improve and add more mass already to his tall lengthy frame. Definitely one athlete that coaches will be keeping their eyes on.
#3.Jack VanDorelaer (25) | 6’4, 225 | TE | Southlake Carroll
Jack holds one early offer to the Univeristy of Incarnate Word. Could easily develop into a highly rated and recruited tight end for the Southlake Carroll Dragons. Jack passes the eye test on the field and can make some impressive plays happen. Should be intresting to watch the development of this recruit once he gets more playing time on tape.
#2.Ty Rupe (25) | 6’5, 210 | TE | Grand Oaks
Ty could develop into one of the top tight ends in his class with his next level size already at 6’5, he features a big frame, with long arms and can move very well. Seeing him doing some route running drills he looks light on his feet and can cut up the field, stop on a dime and looks to be a good hands catcher. I think with more film, Ty could end up being a highly rated FBS recruit and be at one of the top in the 2025 class of tight ends.
#1.Jeremiah Scoby (25) | 6’3, 185 | TE | Dickinson
Jeremiah may have picked up a few things learning from ESPN 300 recruit, and Aggies commit, senior Donovan Green. Scoby has the size, strength, speed, route running ability to be one of the if not the best tight end in his class. He has the size and skills and already can put his hand in the ground or be lined up outside and pout defenders in the dirt. Physical player with great size and physical capabilities already and will develop into one next nationally ranked tight end for Dickinson.
