The top senior class of 2024 Texas High School football tight-end recruits in the state of Texas can be found here.  These guys are some of the very best at getting open, running routes, or blocking on the line of scrimmage or out in space.  Here is a look at who made our top 5, and watchlist players.

Top 5 Texas High School Football tight end recruits

#5. Ranked Tight end (TX.) Ryhs Phillips (24) | 6’3, 225 | TE | Tompkins

Ryhs surprised us with his long arms, speed, and ability to rack up yards after the catch and find the end-zone. Speed won’t blow you away, however, he can line up as a wideout and run some crisp routes on the way into the end zone.

#4. Ranked Tight end (TX.) Cooper Stevens (24) | 6’3, 230 | TE | Cy-Fair

Cooper is a versatile tight end, who can block or run routes and catch the football. He makes for a great and easy target in the middle of the field or in the red zone.

#3. Ranked Tight end (TX.) Luke Carter (24) | 6’4, 235 | TE | Katy

Luke is one who is used to playing power football and he can stay in and block or break off the line and be a red-zone threat. Can also use his speed for the vertical passing game as he has an athletic lengthy frame.  Marshall, North Texas,  Sam Houston, Texas Tech, and Tulane have all offered to date.

#2. Ranked Tight end (TX).  Ian Flynt (24) | 6’5, 250 | TE | Katy Taylor

A big framed, tight end and one who can block on the LOS, or out in space and be a threat as a receiving tight end as well. Ian could arguably our number one ranked tight end and for good reason. His speed and blocking ability make him elite.

#1. Ranked Tight end (TX.) Jewlyen Roberts (24) | 6-5, 235 | TE | Pearce

We chose Roberts as our number one tight-end recruit because of his size, and ability to block out in space and come up with spectacular catches. Roberts is one of the best to do it at his position and class. He can block as well as any lineman and has a mean streak to him.  Holds 8 division I offers to schools like Tulane, Louisiana Tech, and Texas Tech to name a few.
