This week will be talking about where the top prospects in the state of Texas will be visiting colleges this summer.

We start off with the Longhorns first and which recruits Coach Sarkisian and staff have been able to bring in.

Bryce Anderson | 6’0” 190 | Safety / DB | West Brooks

I was fortunate to be able to watch Bryce play this 7-on-7 season and boy is he a special player. He held his own against elite competition and was shut down. One if the top DB recruits in the state and nation. Anderson’s schedule is full this summer. The Longhorns are his last stop on the 25th of this month after he visits Texas A&M on the 4th and Alabama on the 18th. His scheduled commitment date is on the Fourth of July.

Austin Jordan | 6’0” 190 | Saftey / DB | Denton Ryan

The highly-rated DB helped lead his team to a state title last year. His defense was absolutely lockdown and he was a big contributor to his team. Jordan has a visit with the Buckeyes and the Sooners before he stops in Austin. Experts say he is high in the Sooners and it would be a shocker if Texas and Coach Sarkisian could land this 4-star recruit.

Jaylon Guilbeau | 5’11” 175 | CB | Memorial

Arguably one of the best cornerbacks in his class. Guilbeau has terrific size and build for the DB position. He is an impressive cornerback that has a height ceiling in college and beyond. He committed to the Longhorns back in September of last year and now the future longhorn finally gets to visit the 40 acres in person.

Cameron Williams | 6’5” 360 | OT | Duncanville

One of the most highly rated linemen in the country will be visiting the Longhorns on the 4th of this month. Who else is included on his list? The Oklahoma Sooners and Oregon Ducks. No future predictions here from experts so this visit to the campus could be crucial for the Longhorns to impressive the Duncanville star linemen.

Ish Harris | 6’3” 195 | LB | Pilot Point

Harris has the requisite size and frame you’d like to see in linebackers nowadays who look strong, fast, and athletic. The Sooners are in the mix along with Texas A&M on Harris’s list of campuses to visit this summer. Harris is a beast on both sides of the ball and would be a special addition to any team. At running back he can plow over people and on defense he can cover sideline to sideline with his amazing speed.

Jaydon Blue | 5’11” 205 | RB | Klein Cain

The best running back in the nation in his class has the Longhorns penciled in for a visit on the 18th of this month. I’m also glad to say I’ve had the pleasure of watching Jaydon in person and his athleticism was just simply better than everyone else’s on the field. Impressive on both sides of the ball and catching passes at these 7-on-7 tournaments.

Kelvin Banks | 6’5” 300 | OT | Summer Creek

This offensive lineman is arguably one of the best in his class and nation still yet uncommitted. If there was ever a full schedule, Banks has it. He’s got LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma State, then comes back to Texas and finishes his summer off with the Longhorns and Texas A&M. Experts say Texas A&M and the Oklahoma State Cowboys are high on his list.

Armani Winfield | 6’2” 180 | WR | Lewisville

Would be a disappointment not to list Armani on this list. The already Texas commit gets to finally visit where he will be calling home for the next four years after a most unusual year of recruiting in 2020 due to COVID. Winfield shocked everyone at the beginning of the year when he chose the Longhorns over the Buckeyes and Sooners, whom experts had predicted.

Denver Harris | 6’1” 180 | CB | North Shore

Another top-notch defensive back the Longhorns could land. The five-star recruit has tough decisions ahead of him after he has a list of prestigious colleges to visit this summer. LSU, Alabama, and Texas A&M are all on the list for the summer.
