Today we take a look at some of the top prospects from around the state who have either received offers from respectable universities or have made their commitment.
Some of these prospects’ recruitments are just beginning to take off and camp season this summer and getting in front of college coaches has been critical for most. Take a look at some of the latest prospect offers.
Offers & Commitments
Tyler Turner (23), DB, SA Brennan
Offers to UTSA and Baylor’s come back-to-back for the Brennan star. In 2020 Turner had 109 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 PBU’s, and 5 INTs. Really shined this 7-on-7 season. Many more offers to come for this rising star.
Cory Hendrix (22), OT/IOL, College Station
The 3-star offensive linemen committed to SMU a few days ago. He held offers to schools like Baylor, Houston, Michigan State, and Utah to name a few. Last season was a unanimous first-team all-district selection as a junior. Hendrix was sold after his visit to SMU, and they get a tough offensive lineman who can move the pile.
Omari Evans(22), ATH/ QB/WR/DB, Shoemaker
Offered by Penn State recently. Omari adds to his 25 Division I offers. Holds offers to schools like Baylor, Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, and others. Also a track star. This is a player that can do it all on the field and dominate on both sides of the ball.
Austin Kawecki (22),OL, Lebanon Trail
The big 6’4 offensive linemen committed to Oklahoma State just a few days ago. Holds 27 Division I offers. This offensive lineman had his choice of schools to choose from.
Jordan Hudson(22), WR, Garland
The ex-Oklahoma Sooners commit opened back up his recruitment not too long ago. He has taken his visit to Texas not too long ago and seemed to be enjoying his time. I wouldn’t be surprised for one of the Nations top receivers to shock us all in his decision. I say the nation’s best may take his talents to one of the best schools in the nation in Alabama. I could be wrong and he may go with his hometown school in SMU, but the weekend on the 4th of July during fireworks weekend is when he makes his final announcement.

Nate Kibble (24), OL, Atascocita
The first Divison I offer comes from UTSA for the big 6’3 almost 300 ilb offensive linemen.
Tevon Cortez(22), DB, Cibolo Steele
Tevon received his first of many Division I offer from UNLV. This corner will be special this season and will have a strong senior campaign.
J.P. Deeter (22), DL, Manvel
One of the most highly rated defensive ends that were still uncommitted up in till a week ago, made his commitment to the Purdue Boilermakers. The 3-star defensive tackle has 194 tackles, 17 TFL’s, 9 Sacks, 2 PBU.s, and 2 forced fumbles on his impressive career year to date. Look for him to add to those numbers this season.
Brenen Thompson (22), WR/DB, Manvel
One of the most highly rated DBS in the State(11th) and Nation (23th) has his choice of schools to choose from. He recently released his top 6 including Alabama, Clemson, Texas, Texas A&M, OSU, and Oregon. Experts think Clemson and Texas have the best shots at landing this top prospect.
Joshua Wiggins (22), DB, Klein Oak
Announced that he will be taking his talents to the Colorado Buffaloes. The Buffs defensive backfield will be a very scary one with top DB commits in Wiggins and Warren Easton (La.) Ronald “Champ” Lewis

Caleb Douglas (22), WR, Hightower
The 3-star 6’3″ receiver committed to the Baylor Bears. One of my favorite receivers in his class. Baylor gets a special outside receiver who is dangerous out on the field because of his large catch radius and elite route-running ability. Look for this player to come in right away and have an immediate impact on Baylor.
Congratulations Caleb!!! God has great things in store for your life!!! https://t.co/56e0oYrkgB
