The University of Florida have felt the negative impact of the transfer portal this month with a flood of players going into the portal. Two players entered the portal today in former four-star linebacker Diwun Black, and Lloyd Summerall, an Edge player for the Gators.
Diwun Black, LB, Florida – (Junior)
Diwun Black was the NO.1 JUCO linebacker recruit in the class of 2021 to commit to playing in the swamp from Mississippi Gulf Coast. Saw very little playing time in 2021 and 2022.
Lloyd Summerall, EDGE, Florida – (Redshirt Sophomore)
The second player from the Gators to hit the portal is Lloyd Summerall a 6-foot-5 linebacker who has seen significant playing time for the gators. High School career was special, played for some powerhouse teams in Florida and did well. Mainly played on special teams for the Gators.
