Uncommitted Top Senior QB Recruits

By:

With early signing day just around the corner. We wanted to highlight a few senior recruits who we think are some of the top quarterback prospects left in the state in their respective class.

We have ranked in order our opinion of the top quarterback prospects, find out about the top uncommitted senior gunslingers in Texas High School football still looking for a place to call home.

Top Quarterback Prospects

#10 Britton Moore (22) | 5’11” 175 | QB | SA Reagan

Britton is a strong dual threat quarterback that is undersized but is a great athlete. He has the speed and arm strength, A few DI programs have shown interest but has to found a home yet.

#9 Demetrias Charles (22) | 5’11” 180 | QB, ATH | Channelview

Charles is a below average height quarterback with blazing speed as an athlete. He can throw the football beautifully, has a nice deep ball, nice velocity on all of his throws, however, he is undersized and of he opens play quarterback at the next level, surely this atekte would make for a great offensive weapon on someone’s offense. FBS caliber athlete with speeds and attributes.

#8 Jake Sock (22)| 6’2″ 185 | QB | Pearland

Jake has a lean athletic build, and has that prototypical height, being just above average height for a QB. There is no doubt that quarterback has no problem throwing deep bombs down the field and can hit recievers in stride. Shows good mechanics, footwork in the pocket, and hitching up, working the pocket, Sock does all of those things well. Suprsingly does not have any DI offers, decision making and timing on throws, as well as mechanics need improvement, however, Sock is a FBS caliber athlete with the right coaching, can produce at the next level. Career stats in two years as a starter, Sock completed 141-287 of his passes with 2,402 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and 12 Interceptions.

#7 Brock Bolfing (22) | 6’2 195 | QB | Montgomery

Brock has the adequate size and arm strength you like to see in a prototypical quarterback. Perfect for a run and gun type of spread offense system, Brock has a quick release and can fire the ball towards the middle of the field , splitting defenders, or deep down the field.

#6 Caleb Heavner(22) | 6’2″ 180 | QB | Denison

Heavner holds some interest from DI programs like SMU. Senior season he completed 158-225 of his passes with 2058 yards passing and 18 touchdowns.Ive been able to see this quarterback throw in pers0n , he3s got a smooth reliever, can take control of the field and move the ball. DI prospect who would be a steal for someone looking to add depth to their team at the next level.

#5 Cole Francis (22) | 6’2″ 165 | QB | Tompkins

This season Francis completed 135-210 of his passes with 2,202 yards passing and 21 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He’s been one of my favorite under the radar quarterbacks this season that has gotten the job done seemingly week in and week out during the regular season, he really put on some strong performances. Francis has fluid and excellent mechanics, footwork and features a quick release of the football. He shows a fluid transfer of weight when he throws his passes, he’s using more of his lower body, also a dual-threat QB that teams have to account for both his arm and or legs effecting the game. Holds some interest from other schools but deserves some offers.

#4 Carson Roper (22)| 6’2″ 181 | QB | Klein Cain

Roper has been one of the most underrated players this season period. Dangerous dual-threat quarterback that can deliver strikes in the short to intermitted passing game, flashes a quick reliever, doesn’t have to step in t throws to deliver ia strike, deep ball and mechanics need a little work but Carson is without a doubt a Division I caliber athlete, I could also see him playing wide reciever or tight end at the next level as well, has that athletic almost fullback type of build.

#3 Gage Roy (22)| 6’2″ 185 |  QB | Dallas Jesuit

Gage is a solid quarterback who checks off all the boxes at that position and one that can find the end-zone seemly at will. Seeing him play last offseason in 7v7 play and this season, Roy has perfect timing and commands the field, finds open receivers and has the arm strength to rifle passes in-between coverage. Offers include Georgetown, Lafayette, New Mexico, and Toledo.

#2 Bert Emanuel (22)| 6’3″ 195 |  QB |  Ridge Point

Bert in my opinion was one of the top dual threat Quarterbacks this regular season, and one who impressed many with his arm strength and athleticsm. Hold three Division I offers to Lamar, Texas Southern, and Army. This season Bert was perfect, not throwing one single interception, his career stats include completing 283-480 of his passes for 4,278 yards passing with an additional 1504 yards rushing on 226 carries , 49 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and 21 rushing touchdowns.

#1.Tanner Murray (22) | 6’2″ 190 | QB | Langham Creek

Murray is one of the most FBS caliber ready quarterbacks that could produce early on in his career at the next level. He’s got the arm strength, mechanics and speed. Murray shows he can avoid pressure in the pocket, hitch up or laterally, and or take off with the football and run some defenders over. Also shows a beautiful deep ball with great touch and accuracy.Has 7 division I offers to schools like Colorado State, Marshall, Rice, San Diego State, Tulsa, UTSA, Houston Baptist.
