Thursday Night Lights: top matchups and recruits from around the state

We have some of the best games and players to watch in week 9 of Texas High School football under the Thursday night lights. Here are some of the best matchups taking place from across the state.

Phillips has 525 yards passing and 6 rushing touchdowns on the season.

 

Jacob Brown (22) RB

Has 636 yards rushing this season on 49 carries and 12 rushing touchdowns. Brown has over 1,00 yards rushing in his three-year career for Paetow.

 

Alexander Kilgore (23) ILB 

Kilgore has 27 solo and 41 total tackles this season plus 5 sacks. In his two years as a starter, Kilgore has over 120 tackles, 10 sacks, and 1 interception.

In his three years as a starter, Webb has 87 solo and 113 total tackles plus 8 interceptions and 23 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries.

Alonzo Hines (22) RB

Hines has 653 yards rushing this season on 75 carries and 9 total touchdowns on the season. 

 

Tyer King (22) WR 

King leads the tea in receiving with 38 receptions and 457 yards receiving with 5 touchdowns on the season. 

 

Bricen Brantley (23) WR 

At 6’2 Brantley has some amazing height and skills to pair. He is not too far from the top spot receiving for the team with 23 receptions and 402 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season.
