Midland,TX – Four-star Midland Legacy quarterback Marcos Davila has committed to Purdue after announcing via Twitter on Monday afternoon following a recent visit.
Davila, who was originally committed to TCU but then subsequently decommitted from the horned frogs on Feb. 22 ,opening his recruitment back up and drawing many interest. Davila now committed to Purdue, had interest from some of the nations top programs and really caught fire and took of this year.
However, Purdue had a leg up on the competition with another fellow Texas native in offensive coordinator Graham Harrell on staff who connected with Davila throughout his recruitment even when Harrell was a coach on a different staff with West Virginia.
Davilla obviously felt more love from this coaching staff at Purdue to make this decision and felt as if the c0aches were genuine and treated

While many could say schools such as Colorado, Miami became programs of top interest in the weeks since re-opening his recruitment, Davila has since shut things down after what obviously seemed like a great visit to Purdue recently.
