DFW Standout Recruits of Week 5

DFW – We are nearly half way through Texas High School football regular season and last week there was some players who stood out among the many. We have highlight some of the top recruits from the DFW area who had prolific performances in week 5 of the season. Here are some of the Honorable Mentions, Recruits on the Rise and MVP of last week.

 

 

MVP of the Week

 

Josh Hoover (22)| 6’1″ 205 | QB | Rockwall heath 

It was a shoot out in the game that Hoover led his team to a 79-71 victory of what some could arguably call the game of the year against Rockwall. Now we have a lot of football left this season however this was a special game and performance for Hoover and that Rockwall-Heath offense. Hoover completed 16 of 26 of his passes, throwing for 365 yards and 4 touchdowns on the night earning him the title of MVP of the week.

 

 

Honorable Mentions

 

Jalen Hale (22)| 6’3″ 185 | WR| Longview

Hale is one of the best receivers in his class not only in the state but the entire nation. Last game Hale put on a clinic showing his dominance at wide receiver Mossing defenders al game long.

 

Ollie Gordon (22) RB Trinity

16 carries for 233 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns on the night. Trinity was able to take care of business with a shout out on night with Gordon scoring the majority of the points in the 48-0 victory against bell.

Blake Youngblood (22)| 6’0″ 180 | Parish Episcopal 

 

Dylan Raiola (24)| 6’3″ 210 |  QB Burleson
