After leaving the swamp visiting the Flordia gators just two weeks ago, five-star linebacker Harold Perkins, one of the most highly rated 2022 recruits, has decommitted from Texas A&M.
Perkins took to Twitter to make the announcement this afternoon saying āThis has been one of the hardest decisions to make, but I will be de-committing from Texas A&M and making my announcement on Feb. 2 at my schoolā.

His uncle told 247 sports that they will be taking a trip to visit LSU this weekend, and it looks like visiting the swamp in Gainesville with new head coach Billy Napier had Perkins reconsidering his options.
Texas has been a favorite for Perkins, and coach Sark and staff have done an excellent job staying the raise with Perkins.
In December of last year, Perkins released his top schools before he committed to the Aggies; his top three, LSU, Texas, and of course Texas A&M.

We donāt think Perkins has totally ruled out playing for head coach Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies, however, what we do know is that he definitely wants to reconsider and open his options back up.
Won’t be surprised to see more offers come in heavily before the announcement comes on February 2nd. Everyone will be fighting at landing one of the nation’s best.
Perkins holds 33 division I offers and could go play anywhere in the nation. He will be taking an official visit to LSU this weekend and we will see what happens from there.
