Player Analysis & Eval's
Stonewall, first off you have love the football name right off the back, he shows he can be a dominate defensive linemen that can plug up the the interior of that offensive line, fill gaps, and shoot in the backfield to make a play on the ball carrier. Vernor is a average sized player relative to the position, at 6’1 two hundred -seventy pounds. He has a quick first step of the Line of scrimmage, maintains low pad level and shows great strength bench pressing blockers off him and shows he can consistency disengaging from blocks and keeping a high motor trying to make a play on the ball carrier. For a big fella, Vernor can move, he shows off that high motor by disengaging from blocks, getting in the quarterbacks face and or making a sack if not hurrying the QB. Id say by adding more mass at the next level, and a few improvements to his game, Vernor could be a FBS prospect who could contribute later in his career.
