Michigan State landed a commitment today 2023 cornerback Jaylon Braxton. The Frisco, Texas native is the No. 7 ranked DB for tdrecruits.com player in the state and the 27th-ranked cornerback in the country by 247sports. He chose Michigan State over offers from Baylor, Penn State, California, Arkansas, LSU and others.
Braxton is the tenth public pledge in Michigan State’s 2023 recruiting class. He’s the fourth prospect to commit to the Spartans following an official visit to East Lansing this month, after four-star cornerback Chance Rucker, four-star wide receiver Demitrius Bell, and four-star linebacker Jordan Hall.
Braxton will boost the Spartans to No. 12 in the country, according to the 247Sports team recruiting rankings.
