Social Media Marketer Intern
Requirements/Resonsibilites
- Experience with social media platforms, including, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc
- The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Exquisite communication and people skills
- Support marketing team in organizing various projects
- Gather data on campaign success, often through collecting audience feedback
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)
- Deliver promotional content via various social media platforms
- Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
- Excellent grammar and writing skills are required for this position
- Strong writing skills, and social media knowledge to manage various social media sites, social media campaigns, and weekly email campaigns to support the company’s branding strategy
- Understanding of social media metrics; ability to interpret the results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Demonstrated project management, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Plan social campaigns in collaboration with teams
- Enable the growth of each social media platform in followers, amount of engagement, and conversions
- Measure and report performance of social media campaigns, and assess against goals.
- Track and analyze reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to improve future outcomes
- Possess graphic design skills to create images for posts and email marketing
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Create posts and be able to maintain the company’s social media sites and post to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, via a social media dashboard for example Hootsuite
- This includes both written and visual/video content creation
- Ability to create engaging content (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite Products)
- Experience in news writing, web content writing, and editing is a plus.
- Ideal candidate demenstares a good understanding of sales and marketing principles and/or the willingness to learn
- By creating and utilizing engaging and dynamic content, the role also includes duties and tasks to drive awareness and engagement, generate sales, and promote sports marketing services and customer relationship best practices
