HOUSTON- We have compiled all of the stats, crunched all the numbers, watched all the film all so that you don’t have too. We have the top performers from the around the Houston area who balled out last week and had themselves some noteworthy performances that drew our attentions as being some of the Offensive Players of the Week. Here are some to the top recruits that performed well in week 7 of the Texas High School football Season.
Mabrey Mettauer (24) The Woodlands
Mettauer flexed his dual-threat nature in this game leading his team to blowout victory in what many thought would be a shoutout game against Willis. With the battle of the young QBs , Mabrey went head to head with opposing highly rated recruits quarterback DJ Lagway and shined all night. Showcasing his elite arm speed, athleticism and arm strength.
Kedrick Reescano (23) New Caney
No other running back in the Houston area has been better than New Caney Kedrick Reescano. His size, speed and athleticism make him a impossible force to bring down. Last game Kedrick rushed the ball 22 times for 223 yards, plus 2 receptios for 47 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. This season on 121 carries Kedrick has rushed for 889 yards and a total of 16 touchdowns. Holds offers to Houston, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, SMU, Tulsa and UTSA.

Cole Francis (22) Tompkins
In the 52-7 victory over Katy Taylor Francis had an amazing performance and threw for 362 yards passing with an amazing 5 touchdowns on the night. Francis was completing 66% of his passes on the night and only threw one INT. Impressive QB thus far this season who has 1707 yards passing with 18 passing TDs and only 4 INTs on the year. Very impressive to say the least. Still no offers or interest yet from major division I programs. That number should triple by the start of his senior season.
Luke Martin (22) Dickinson
Martin had 9 carries for 106 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns in his teams 35-7 victory over Brazoswood.
Tristen Brown(24) Lamar
2 receptions for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night. This is a sophomore receiver to know. Very smart, great gpa, great skills on the gridiron. Brown is making a name for himself this year.
Jo’Qwan West (22) Shadow Creek
I love West’s height almost surpassing 6’2 , this receiver has a large catch radius because of his lengthy athletic frame and wingspan. This is a under-the-radar type of receiver who can ball and get open in the end zone. Hes good in his routes , has quick feet and dangerous in his routes.
Jeremy Payne (24) Fort Bend Hightower
Payne accounted for 15 carries on 185 yards rushing. This season Payne is a running back to know, averaging nearly 100 yard rushing the football in four games in a row this season.
Amir Johnson (22) Brenham
Amir had 10 carries for 127 yards rushing and 1 touchdown on the night.
Carson Roper (22) Klein Cain
Carson has been lights out this season and is one of my favorite QBs on the rise. He completed 13 of 18 of his passes and throw for 221 yards passing and 3 touchdowns on the night.Roper is one who is on pace to have a breakout year.
