Week #2 of Texas high school football kicked off with a bang and a lot of good offensive play took place. We give you a look at who were the top running back recruits to know of the second week of football from the Houston area. Here are the top rushers of week #2 of Texas high school football:

Christian Womack (23) | 5-11 / 180 | RB | TomballĀ
Despite the loss, Womack kept his team close in a well-fought game rushing for 296 yards on 24 carries and racking up 2 total touchdowns on the evening.Ā
Kedrick Reescano (23′) | 5-11 /190 | RB | New Caney
Michigan State commit had a special night rushing for 125 yards on 14 carries and having 2 touchdowns leading his team to a shutout victory over Porter.

Quinton Jones (24′) | 5-11 / 190 | RB | Jersey Village
Quinton is a one-cut running back who can leave defenders in a cloud of dust in a hurry. His speed and agility are elite and he helped his team to a win 35-30 over the Langham Creek Lobos rushing 15 times and picking up 131 yards rushing on the night and 3 touchdowns. Another talented recruit to keep an eye out for this season will be special.
Micah Bell (23′) | 5-11/ | CB, RB | Kinkaid
The Notre Dame commit is slotted to play corner for the Fighting Irish at the next level however, Micah had an amazing game rushing the football with 129 yards rushing on 18 carries and 1 touchdown. Bell can get the job done in all phases of the game.
Eric Nelson (25′) | TBD | RB | Mayde Creek
Nelson had himself a game rushing for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 5 carries.
Christian Womack (23′) | 6′ / 185 | RB | Tomball
Womack is a recruit to know this season out of the backfield for Tomball that could be very special this season. The numbers don’t lie, Womack rushed for nearly 300 yards with 2 touchdowns on the night. Look for him to be special for Tomball and one who could dominate within his division for the Cougars.

Seth Davis (23′) | 5-7 / 170 | RB | Katy
The Duke Blue devils commit is off and running to a terrific senior season and last Friday’s game was no different. Davis rushed for 193 yards on 28 carriers and ran in 2 touchdowns for the Katy Tigers offense and help lead them to victory in a well-fought game against Atascocita that would end up coming down to the wire with a score of 35-28 Katy.
Rueben Owens (23′) |5-11 / 190 | RB | El Campo
Despite the loss, the El Campo and nations best running back still had a good night with 29 carries that went for 156 yards rushing along with 2 touchdowns. Averaged 5.4 yards on the night.
Santana Scott (23′) | 5-6 / 160 | RB | Morton Ranch
Scott is a division I talent who should gain more interest this season with performances like his last game against Kingwood where he helped his team to victory with a 56-28 win, 152 yards rushing, and 2 touchdowns on the night on 21 carries. Holds two offers to Central Arkansas and Davidson.
Ryan Hall (24′) | 6′ / 210 | RB | Morton Ranch
Hall is a recruit to know this season and they will be a two-headed beast this season with Scott, and Hall sharing snaps out of the backfield. They both dominated last game and Hall had 15 carriers go for 166 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns on the night. A recruit that is flying under the radar, for now.

Myles Arterberry (23′) | 5-10 / 180 | RB | Klein
Army commit and Klein running back Myles Arterberry had himself a fantastic game rushing the football with 212 yards and 3 touchdowns.
