Friday Night Games of the Week
Tompkins (5-0) vs Katy (5-0)
Game previews: This is by far the biggest heavy weight matchup of the week in the Houston area. Both teams are coming into this game undefeated with high powered offenses and great defenses for each team. Katy has that ground and pound game lead by running back Seth Davis who has played phenomenal this season. Since the running game brings balance to that Katy offense, the passing game can Hirt opposing defenses as well with the art of deception in the play calling. When you think the Katy Tigers might hand the ball off they will pull it back and toss the ball own field on a play action fake. Tompkins on offense is looking like they are clicking on all cylinders and have play makers everywhere to the offensive line, to the wide receivers and even at quarterback. Senior quarterback Cole Francis has done a terrific job of spreading the ball around to a well of talent like wide reciever Joshua McMillan. The pair of been seemly impossible to stop along with a few others listed below. Grab the popcorn or nanchos, this ones going to be a fun one to watch.

Game preview: North always produces special division I talent every year and this year is no different. Lead by quarterback Wyndell Mitchell on offense, Mitchelle has plenty of weapons to choose from. North Shore just has play makers on bothsides of the ball and they look like a really hard team to beat this year despite that one loss. Humble will look to hold them and fight back to an even record.
