The state of Texas produces some of the most talented athletes in the sport of football. This season is off to a hot start already and its looking like everyone is glad to be back to football. We have the top running back recruits in the DFW area who are picking up yards and touchdowns in bunches.
Jaylen Jenkins (22) – Allen
Jenkins has been one of Allens top offensive players this season and for good reason. This running back has lethal speed. One cut and he will take the football to the house. Holds 7 divisions one offers to schools like Hawaii, Tulsa and Utah State.
Unstoppable! @D1_Jay5 makes several defenders miss and would not be late to his date with the end zone! @alleneaglesfb defeats Cedar Hill and we have all the highlights tonight at 6:30 on NBC5! #txhsfb #ihss pic.twitter.com/Z4SlvK5356

Ashton Jeanty (22) – Lone Star Frisco
Jeanty just committed to Boise State after a terrific start of the season. He’s been a tough running back to bring down and one who can gash holes in the defenses and exploit them for touchdowns. I really like the versatilely of Jeanty being an athlete who can run and catch out of the backfield. He will be special player to watch the rest of the season for Lone Star Frisco.

Damian Martinez (22) – Lewisville
The Orgeon State commit had himself a special game last week going for 214 yards rushing on 18 carries and with 1 touchdown. This is a hard running back to bring down , it usually takes the entire team to bring him down. Tuff runner who makes a few good cuts in the open field and can be off the races. Will produce right away in college early in his career. I wouldn’t rule out the possibilities of playing on Sundays for Martinez either.

Kaleb Hicks (23) – Denton Ryan
Hicks is explosive out of the backfield and Ryan has relied heavily on the run game this season with Hicks beening heavy involved in the offense. He’s got a stought base to him, solid legs that give him the ability to remain balanced after contact. I like his ability to make some cuts and then be off to the races with his elite speed and athleticsm.
@HicksKalib was named MVP of the 1st ever Jerry Jones Classic after a stellar season opening performance in @DentonRyanFball’s 40-7 win over Longview at The Star in Frisco today. #TXHSFB @BSpicerTV pic.twitter.com/O5bYOu4ggb

Jaden Trawick (24) – DeSoto
Only a sophomore this year, Jaden has a lot of room to become a prominent running back recruit out of the backfield for DeSoto. Keep this guy on your radar, he is one who could be scoring a lot of touchdowns for The U for the years to come.
Jarvis Reed (23) – Mansfield Timberview
Coaches watch out this is a running back to know out of Mansfield Timberview. He’s got some great size, long athletic frame, long arms. He’s explosive in his runs. Maintains a low balance and has nice lateral speed. Last game Reed had 23 carries for 181 yards and 1 touchdown.
Ollie Gordon (22) – Trinity
Gordon is dangerous with the football in his hands. I think he conuties to grow and add more mass to his lengthy athletic frame. Committed to Oklahoma State. The Cowboys got a star waiting for them next season.
Owen Allen (23) – Southlake Carroll
No one other than Allen has been more special running the football than Allen that doesn’t much offers if any yet. This running back will undoubtedly earn himself some college offers and interest this season and maybe even a few stars.

BJ Phillips (22) – Guyer
Bj Phillips, this is a running back you could feed the rock to the entire game and he will give you relentless effort. I love the size and the running ability this guy has between the tackles. Has 4 divisions I offers at the moment , watch that number grow this season.
Had a great season with my team!
