The final week of the regular season brought about some of the best perfomances of the season. It felt like every one is primed and ready for playoffs. Here is the final week of the regular season of Texas high school football Players of the Week for the DFW area.
Offensive Recruits of the Week
Kaden Anderson (23) QB South Lake Carroll
Stat line: 15 completions for 17 attempts with 201 yards passing, and 3 touchdowns. Plus one rushing touchdown on a 6 yard rush into the end zone.
Anderson has been on fire this season and has emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in his class. Last week was no different, he put on a special performance
Rushing TD by @_kadenanderson puts @CarrollDragonFB up 21-0! The Dragons are ROLLING!

Owen Allen (23) RB, South Lake Carroll
Stat line: 12 carries for 169 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns plus 1 reception go for 24 yards and 1 touchdown
Allen and Anderson have been a deadly pair this season. Racking up points in bunches, they are some of my favorite Dragon recruits in the 2023 cycle. Allen is a tough runner, that runs well in between the tackles and can plow people over and he did exactly that against Fossil Ridge.
?RECORD IN DANGER?
RB @owenallen_slc needs 206 yards to pass Tre Newton to become the all time leading rusher at Carroll
Keep an eye out these next few games for this stud to break a record!!! pic.twitter.com/yStspYmUd9

Landen Chambers (23) RB, Fossil Ridge
Stat line : 31 carries for 193 yards and 1 touchdown
Chambers had great night against Southlake Carroll despite the loss, he kept his team in the fight. Chambers looks like a long athletic looking back that can put the moves on you or plow over defenders.
RJ Maryland (23) TE, Southlake Carroll
Stat line : 9 receptions for 154 yards and touchdowns
The Boston College commit had himself a nice senior exit night of the regular season and played his heart out for the Dragon in their victory over Fossil Ridge. No doubt RJ will be special in the playoffs and at the next level.

Keldric Luster (23) QB, Liberty
Stat line : 31 completions for 50 attempts and throwing for 304 yards and 2 touchdowns plus had 25 carries for 106 yards ad 2 touchdowns
Luster is a dual threat quarterback who moves with the ball beautifully in the pocket, he can take off at anytime, has the speed and or has the arm strength to deliver deep bombs down the field with accuracy. A little undersized at 5’11, however is a great athlete, and showed it last week.
Mike Hawkins (24) QB, Allen
Stat line: 10 completions for 11 attempts and 224 yards passing plus 4 carries for 44 yards rushing and 1 touchdown
Hawkins has been on fire this season because we have featured his name a few times already on this list. This quarterback is breakout out onto the scene this season, he’s got some great roots / pedigree, father was former university Oklahoma cornerback and player in the NFL. Played great last week and has been all season for Allen. Post season us up next for Allen.
Jordyn Tyson (22) WR, Allen
Stat line: 5 receptions for 118 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns
Colorado Buffs commit Jordyn Tyson has been one of the leading receivers this season. Last week he put on a show and came up with some pretty nice grabs and plenty of yards after the catch. Check out the catch below.
This is more like it! Let my dawg @tyson_jordyn go up and get it! One of the best in the country at just that! https://t.co/fkwviUd60c

Weston Smith (23) QB, Colleyville Heritage
Stat line: 12 completions out of 17 attempts with 274 yards passing and 4 touchdowns on the night.
Now four-star quarterback Weston Smith , who was recently awarded his stars this week, is well deserving of them. This season he’s been making headlines as on of the prominent quarterback recruits in the 2023 class. Holds interest from Colorado, Notre Dame, the Ragin Cajuns and many more. Received his first offer from Florida State back in May.
Thank you @Rivals for making me a 4?? !! @samspiegs @steveclarkson pic.twitter.com/JHKt5ZMpzk

Braden Blueitt (25) WR, Colleyville Heritage
Stat line: 6 receptions for 150 yards passing and 2 touchdowns.
This is a freshmen wide receiver to keep your eyes on who has been making some noise this season.
Hogan Wassom (22) WR, Colleyville Heritage
Stat line: 3 receptions for 100 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns
Wassom is one of the vary few 2022 wide receivers still uncommitted that is FBS caliber. Hogan holds an offer from Illinois state and it should be interesting to see if a few more come in before the end of his senior year.
Ashton Jeanty (22) RB, Lone Star Frisco
Stat line: 35 carries for 231 yards
Jeanty helped march his team up and down the field in a well fought defensive game against Ryan. There is no doubt, he will be a strong contributor for the Lone Star offense heading in top the post season.
Kalib Hicks (23) RB, Ryan
Stat line: 23 carries for 114 yards rushing
Hicks lead one a great rushing attack on the ground and picked up some yards in Denton Ryans 7-6 victory against Lone Star Frisco.
Keyunte King (23) WR, Garland
Stat line: 6 receptions for 113 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns
Sawyer Anderson (25) QB, Parish Episcopal
Stat line: 16 completions for 25 attempts and 329 yards and 5 touchdowns
Anderson will no doubt be a quarterback to know in the 2024 cycle. He plays against some tough competition and has not only held his own , but out shined and out performed other opponents this season week in and week out.
Andrew Paul (22) RB, Parish Episcopal
Stat line: 15 carries for 112 yards for 3 touchdowns
No other senior running back has been hotter on the recruiting trail than the uncommitted Andrew Paul. You sure will whistle when you see the speed and cutting ability this running back has, he can make a few shake and bake moves and be off to the races. Often going untouched into the end zone. Offers this year include most recent Auburn, Michigan State, Cal, and Missouri.
Blake Youngblood (22) WR, Parish Episcopal
Stat line: 4 receptions or 127 yards and 2 touchdowns

Harry Stewart III (24) RB, Centennial
Stat line: 28 carries for 279 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns
Harry is one of my to running backs in the 2024 cycle on my board, he’s flashes impressive speed and agility, and he can find the end zone at will.
Honorable Mentions
Bret Eskildsen (24) WR, Centennial
Stat line: 9 receptions for 131 yards and 2 touchdowns
Kewan Lacy (24) RB, Nolan Catholic
Stat line:17 carries for 142 yards and 1 touchdown
