We send you into the weekend with some of the top prospects that are on the market at the moment. These guys are some of the most highly-rated prospects not only in the state but also throughout the entire country at their respective positions. Let’s dive right into it and see what prospects have opened back up their recruitment and see some others who are still yet to be committed.
Bear Alexander (22) | 6’3″ 325 | DL / DE | Brewer
One of the best defensive linemen in the country is big Bear Alexander. His play helped lead his team to a state title at Denton Ryan. A defense that was in my opinion one of the best defensives in the state of Texas last year. They were just stacked at every position and were lockdown. Bear was a big part of that. The 5-star defensive tackle was committed to the University of Georgia but opened back up his recruitment after a visit with the Aggies. Bear has a full schedule this summer, has already visited the Longhorns and Miami. This weekend he will be visiting the USC trojans. It seems like the Aggies have the best chance but anything could happen at this moment.

Jordan Hudson (22) | 6’1″ 180 | WR | Garland
When talking about some of the best receivers in the state of Texas at the moment. Jordan’s name has to be in that conversation. The top wide receiver de-committed from the Sooners just recently and has opened back up his recruitment. His size and ability are just so much better than everyone else at this level, I think he will come right in for a college and produce right away as an underclassman. SMU is right in his backyard. It should be interesting to see if they can land the 4-star wide-out. Many seem to think he has a strong chance of staying in the DFW area.

Rueben Owens II (23) | 5’11” 185 | RB | El Campo
The NO.1 running back in the nation in the class of 2023 de-committed from the Longhorns from who he committed to Texas only after a month coach Steve Sarkisian and staff came into power for the longhorns. Well, yesterday morning he announced he would open his recruitment and part way with his scholarship offer from the longhorns. Maybe one reason could be he wanted to go somewhere he could be featured and not necessarily share the backfield with Klein Cain senior running back and Texas commit Jaydon Blue. Whatever the reason may be, offers are already flying in for Owens and it will be very exciting how many more offers he will receive and where he will end up.
Thanks for everything Hook Em nation, recruiting 100% open. #Faith ?? pic.twitter.com/fPup7VPWHr

Isaiah Sategna (22) | 5’11” 170 | WR | Fayetteville
One of the best receivers in the state of Arkansas and ranked NO.35 in the nation de-committed from Texas A&M after a visit to College Station. Something didn’t sit well with Sategna in Aggie land leading to opening up his recruitment. Isaiah currently has 29 Division I offers and will certainly pick up a few more before it’s all said and done with his recruitment. Where he will end up is still a question. There could be a strong case for him staying in state and committing to Arkansas where his father coaches on the track team or perhaps even LSU where his mom was a track star alum. Regardless of where he lands he will be an impact player at the next level.
