Terrell is without a doubt looking to be molding into a Division I caliber player who can make plays on the football and doesn’t shy away from contact. Frame looks athletic with lengthy arms. Speed and agility are there with the ability to close quickly on the ball and track defenders down. Flies downhill to lay the lumber on defenders. A run-stopping safety who can control the back half of his portion of the field. Technique and footwork relative to the defensive back position need improvement; would like to see more fluidity in backpedal and smoother transition of flipping of the hips and getting his head around. Displays great awareness of the field and reads the QB’s eyes well. Twitchy, can break in front of passes easily and break on runs with quickness and explosiveness.
