He can enhance his technique, footwork, and backpedal with time. A versatile athlete, Mason can play corner, safety, or in down the box against runs. He reads the QB’s eyes well, and bates the into creating opportunities for interceptions and pass breakups. Mason has solid open field tackling skills but could become more aggressive. With continued improvement, he has the potential to be a Division I recruit.
