In our third week of highlighting Texas High School football recruits film, we continue to update our list of the top recruits. This list features the best seniors to know going into the season, as well as the underclassmen who could break out and make a name for themselves. Stay tuned for weekly updates. Avondric Rutherford, CB, Cedar Hill, 2025
With his blazing speed and agility, Rutherford has elite speed and is a return threat on special teams. A hard-hitting safety who can come downhill and light up ball carriers or make a play on the ball. Keep an eye on him this season.
Jayden Riley, DB, ATH, Atlanta, 2026
Jayden is a hybrid defender who could play defensive back. Despite the lack of height, Riley could be a name for coaches at the lower levels of college football to keep an eye on.
Keston Griffith, DL , Liberty-Eylau ,2027
Griffith displays the size at 6-foot-2, 300lbs of defensive linemen who shows promise as a recruit to know for years to come. Not much film on him as of yet, but coaches should keep Griffith on the radar as Liberty-Eylau produces top teir talent.
Cameron Heard, QB, Northwest, 2028
Heard is a gunslinging quarterback who will undoubtedly be one of the top in his class in Texas High School football. With his lengthy, athletic frame, Heard will continue to grow and develop into a highly rated and sought-after recruit in his class.
