Throughout his recruitment process, Fasusi, who is ranked as the 12th best prospect one of the best offensive tackle nationwide, had various schools occupying different positions on his list. However, Oklahoma solidified its lead following Fasusi’s official visit to Norman on June 14.
Fasusi’s decision came after careful consideration of an impressive 44 scholarship offers. His interest in Oklahoma began to intensify following his initial visit to Norman in spring 2023. A subsequent visit with his parents on July 25 of the same year further cemented his connection with the program.
Although Fasusi has made his commitment, he maintains that he won’t completely close off communication with other schools. As someone who values relationships, he plans to continue engaging with coaches from other programs. Nevertheless, he emphasizes that this doesn’t undermine the firmness of his commitment to Oklahoma.
“I am 1000% confident in my decision to commit to Oklahoma. They never disappointed me in any area from the start. I love the environment, the people are real and Norman is a great place.” told On3 sports
