Kyle Garvis (24′) | 6-1, 290 | IOL,C | Strake Jesuit
Kyle is an elite interior offensive linemen recruit who is flying under the radar for the moment. Plays and dominates in one of Texas High School footballs toughest divisions (6A) football. Plays with a physical nature and has a mean streak to him driving defenders into the ground and racking up pancake blocks. Very athletic for a big man at 6-foot-1, nearly 6-foot-2, and can dunk on the basketball court with his athleticism and vertical ability. Can play center very well in power formation or out of shotgun. Delviers a nice clean spiral snap to the quarterback and is consistently one you can count on. An anchor on the interior of that offensive line, pass protection footwork and technique need some improvement however, is dominant in the run game with a wide solid base, and low center of gravity. Kyle also shows he can double-team or combo-block and take out defenders at the next level and out in space. Punch and heavy-handedness could also use improvement. However, Kyle is without a doubt a FBS, division I caliber prospect that many should know and keep an eye on. A great addition to any offensive line at the next level.
