Top 10

#10Zion Brown (24′) | 6′, 180 | QB | Atascocita

Brown , not the typical height for a guy at his position but we love the way Brown throws the football and can pick up points for his team. He pairs his athleticism with one of the stronger arms that is able to split defenders, and pick up first downs or touchdowns.

#9JC Evans (24) | 6’5″, 200 | QB |  Brandeis (Transfered since ranking to FL)

JC has the protyical size, and athleticism you would like out of a quarterback at 6-foot-5, 225lbs. He can throw strikes effortlessly, throw on the run, or take the football himself and pick up points for his team. Should be highly ranked and deserves some stars. His senior season will be one to watch.

#8 Karson Gordon (24) | 6’1″, 175 | QB | Episcopal

Karson is a dual threat who can torch defenses threw the air or on the ground. Displays some elite mechanics working the pocket and avoiding pressure. He can make defenses pay if they Gordon catches them sleeping with his elite track sprinter speed. Gordon has no problem gassing defenses down field and not many can keep up.

#7Deuce Adams (24) | 6’1, 170 | QB | Canyon

Duece can throw on the run beautifully and make throws across his body to open receivers in the end-zone as almost as if it was a trick play. An expert at finding the endzone that shows great awareness of the field and finding open receivers. Can throw the football from different dixertires, or take of with the football to pick up first diets or touchdowns. Passed for just over 3,000 yards passing and 34 touchdowns in 2022.

#6 Trey Owens (24) | 6’4″ , 200 |  QB |  Cy Fair

Owens features a lengthy-athletic frame at 6-foot-4, and displays excellent timing on all of his throws to receivers. Shows he can work the football down field, while also keeping nice footwork, and proper mechanics working the pocket and passing. Holds 11 division I offers to schools like Baylor, Rice, SMU, and others.

#5 – Cole Welliver (24) | 6-6, 200 | QB |  Marcus

Cole has one of the most beautiful deep ball arms in his class and is no wonder he is one of the top quarterbacks in class in the nation. He has that prototypical size, and arm strength, to be one that can just sit back in the pocket and survey the field with his 6-foot-6 frame, and pick apart defenses throw the air. Cole projects to be one who could be a 4-star player and rack up plenty of offers during his senior campaign or over the summer this year. Holds 6 division I offers at the moment but that number will soon increase.

#4 – Marcus Davila (24) | 6’3″, 217 | QB |  Midland Lee

Davilas recruiting caught fire this year with a terrific season being named 1st-team all district quarterback throwing for just over 3,000 yards, and 36 touchdowns. Holds 19 division I offers and counting because he has one of the best arms in the class of 2024. Can sit back in the pocket and deliver strikes deep down field or towards the sideline.

#3.Michael Hawkins (24) | 6’1, 185 | QB | Allen

Hawkins is dual threat quarterback who can make some big plays look routine, and put nice velocity and display great accuracy on all throws. Plays for a great, winning program in Allen, and is being recruited by some of the top programs from across the country like Alabama, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, all of the schools that he could be committing to in the near future as he has set an announcement date for this month at the end of January on the 31st.

#2.Mabrey Mettauer (24) | 6’5″ , 215 | QB1 The Woodlands

Not to many quarterbacks, ahead of Mabrey in the country. With his big frame at 6-foot-5, Mabrey is a quarterback who has the athleticism, and arm straight to be a threat through the air, or on the ground against any defense. In 2022 , Mabrey was named 6A District, Co-offensive MVP as a junior, and threw for over 2600 yards, completing 157, out of 236 of his passes, and 36 touchdowns, plus 613 yards rushing, and an additional 9 touchdowns rushing. Committed to Wisconsin over North Carolina, OU, Cal, and others.

#1. DJ Lagway (24) | 6’2″, 205 | QB | Willis

Our number one ranked quarterback in the class of 2024 is DJ Lagway, a recent Florida Gators commit. DJ works the pocket beautifully and can avoid pressure in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield and throwing dimes to open receivers. Defenses also have a hard time accounting for DJ’s ability to escape the pocket. We give DJ a grade of 96 because of his throwing accuracy, arm strength, and dual-threat nature
