This week we kick off our series with our eyes set on the season and the young talent entering it. As you probably are, we are very excited about the up and coming season. With underclassmen developing and picking up recruiting interest earlier in their high school careers more than ever; it’s important to know who some of the top players that could potentially make an impact for their teams and make their names more well known this season.
Here is a look at who we think are some of the best class of 2025 quarterback recruits that have made our watchlist here in Texas High School football.

Top Five
QB Sawyer Anderson, Parish Episcopal
Sawyer is a dual-threat QB that is the most athletically gifted on the field. Like a field general, Sawyer can spread the ball to a wealth of receivers with a beautiful throwing motion and pass to his receivers. Timing and decision-making make Anderson above the pack along with his ability to thread the needle or tuck and run. Holds 13 early division I offers from schools like Arkansas, North Carolina, SMU, TCU, and others.
QB Kelden Ryan, Keller Central
Ryan holds 10 early division I offers and for good reason. He is lethal on the field and can Hirt defenses with his arm or legs. Speed and size are next levels, and decision-making needs a little bit of improvement but overall Kelden is a phenomenal athlete and usually one of the best athletes on the field. Kelden features a quick release and can put the ball on a rope to receivers with excellent awareness of the field at all times.
QB, ATH Michael Terry III, Alamo Heights
Terry is an athlete who can play either quarterback or receiver and dominate on the field. Pairs that athleticism with one of the stronger arms and is extremely tough for defenders to corral both in the pocket and the open field. Only two offers at the moment respectively but other schools like Alabama and Clemson are all showing interest in Terry.
QB Deuce Adams, Canyon
Adams is an athletic-looking quarterback with a lengthy frame at 6-foot-2 and 175lbs, Adams can sling the rock deep downfield and hit receivers in stride. Throws the ball beautifully on the run and flashes impressive velocity on all throws either over the middle or in the short to the intermediate passing game. Cal, UNT, and UTSA are just a few schools to express interest in Adams with scholarship offers.
QB Jackson Hamilton, Pearland
Jackson is one who came on the field last year and was impressed right away with his ability to read the defense, his decision-making, and his ability to hang in the pocket and rifle passes to receivers. If defenses try to take away the pass from Hamilton, he can easily hurt them with his athletic ability and speed. However, Hamilton’s strength is his ability to deliver quick strikes and getting the football into receivers’ hands. Texas A&M, Maryland, and Houston are a few universities that have offers.
