EL CAMPO, Tx. -In a stunning development, 2023 El Campo running back Ruben Owens has committed to Louisville. Owens, who is the nations number one ranked RB and 16th overall player in 2023 class, made the decision on Monday afternoon. Owens had 44 scholarship offers but ultimately chose Louisville over TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, and Georgia.
In June, Owens de-committed from Texas. The El Campo, Texas, product still kept the Longhorns in the conversation but took several trips to evaluate his next destination.
