AUSTIN – Former Ohio State quarterback Quinn Ewers plans to transfer to the University of Texas after his visit this weekend to Austin.
Ewers decided to forego his senior season at South Lake Carroll and compete at the collegiate level in 2021. However, after his first season, Ewers decided to enter the transfer portal with his top three options being Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and his eventual landing spot Texas.
Ewers was highly sought after as a 5-star prospect and one of the best players in his class. He helps round out a big-time recruiting class for Coach Sark and the horns after a disappointing first season.

Along with top talent at skill positions such as Xavier Worthy and Bijan Robinson, Ewers will look to have an immediate impact on the field and help Texas become a Big 12 contender once again.
