Michael Hawkins (24) | 6’1, 185 | QB | Allen
Allen’s next up gunslinger and signal-caller is Michael Hawkins who had an impressive showcasing last season for Allen picking up some stars and offers along the way. Last season Hawkins’s numbers were impressive, to say the least with 2,807 yards passing, 730 yards rushing, 21 touchdowns, 8 rushing touchdowns, and 5 interceptions; Hawkins was nearly perfect last season. He is rated as a four-star quarterback (per 247sports) and one who has some great pedigree; his father is a former NFL player. Picked-up offers from Michigan, SMU, and UIW have all been offered this year for Hawkins and he holds multiple interests in the top programs and conferences from around the country.
JC Evans (24) | 6’4″, 190 | QB |Brandeis
If it were not for an injury last year, JC Evans could easily be in the conversation as one of the top quarterback prospects here in the state of Texas and possibly even nationally. JC has some of the best arm strength, accuracy, and next-level size whose athletics can bear out running or throwing the football. JC can hurt defenses in many ways, and they have to account for his legs and arm. Has picked up one offer from UIW, but we suspect for him to take off this fall and move onto a lot of recruiting boards and rankings.
Arrington Maiden (24) | 6’2 180| QB | College Station
One prospect to know and watch out for is definitely College Station’s gunslinger Arrington Maiden. He has the requisite size and arm strength already and has caught the eye of many, you can tell a lot of coaches are interested in Maiden whose Hudl page seems to be a very popular place to be. Trey could very well be one of the biggest hidden gems in his class at quarterback. He’s a protyipicla-sized quarterback at 6’5 and one who can really spin the football. Showcases some great footwork and velocity on all of his throws. Trey has been making his way around to college campuses, this year he has made stops at SMU, Rice, UNT, and most recently this past weekend the University of Texas to check out the longhorns. This season Owens could blow up and be one of the biggest stock-rising names you hear about this fall.

Lane could easily be in the conversation with some of the top quarterbacks in his class, he’s got a great arm, mechanics, and footwork. Not to mention that he can also make all of the throws with impressive velocity. Lane is one quarterback to know this fall who will undoubtedly take off this coming up season.

Lance is an athlete that can play multiple positions but his specialty is at quarterback. He’s working hard to improve aspects of his game, but there is no doubt that this guy can plow over people and has the skills to dominate on either side of the football. Look for Lance to be a name that could rise up the charts this fall.

Davila is one quarterback is one who could surpass many on this list and in his class this fall. Davila has one of the best arms and earned District 2-6A offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore with his impressive ability to throw the football. Davila features elite footwork in the pocket, that can evade pressure and an arm that doesn’t need his feet to be set to launch an accurate deep bomb where only his receiver can catch it.
