2024 OL’s to know this Fall

By:

Today we take a look at some of the big guys in the trenches to know this fall who will undoubtedly make impacts for their respective teams this fall. Here are some of the best underclassmen offensive line recruits to know in the class of 2024 here in Texas.

Jude Edwards (24) | 6-3 / 280 | IOL | Clear Falls

One player you definitely want to keep your eye on this fall is Jude Edwards. He possesses a stout, solid frame and base, and uses it well to drive defenders off the ball and in pass pro. He may very well be one of the nastiest blockers on this list but still flying under the radar. Edwards has one heck of a mean streak in him and can put defenders in the dirt on every play. FBS caliber athlete with a high ceiling for success.

Makai Saina (24) | 6-4, 275 | OT | Martin

Makai has great size and is very physical at the LOS, shows a good drive, and footwork in pass protection. Will develop at Martin into a recruit who could end up on a lot of recruiting boards and be a highly rated prospect. His size, physical play, and skills will only continue to get better. Since the beginning of the year and after our posting of the top 2024 offensive linemen, Saina recruitment has since taken off picking offers from Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU and Penn State being the latest to offer.

Holton Hendrix (24) | 6-4, 250 | OT | Lubbock-Cooper

Holds one early offer from Texas Tech, Holton is a very nasty run blocker, one who doesn’t stop driving in till the end of the play or in till he is standing over his defender. Looks athletic and light enough on his feet to block well at the second level and or pull around to kick out the edge. FBS prospect who will undoubtedly end up on a lot of recruiting boards soon.

Willie Goodacre (24) | 6-4, 280 | IOL | Guyer

Guyers interior offensive linemen Willie Goodacre will be a special player and recruit for them in addition to being an anchor on that offensive line. You could line up your best against Goodacre and he can shut them down; on film, you will be impressed every time with his size, height, technique, and physicality. Goodacre has long arms, a big frame, wide hips, and is excellent against the run or pass; can clean up a few things technique-wise and work on finishing on plays, other than that,

Ray’Quan Bell (24) | 6-5, 290  | OT | Westfield

Ray’Quan holds 5 DI offer already to Baylor, Colorado State, Houston, UNT, and UTSA. He is a true left tackle, a blindside blocker who shows elite pass protection skills. Has a bit of a mean streak, features long arms and a big frame, will be one of the top offensive tackles in his class; has a few aspects he can improve and

Andrew Cunningham (24) | 6-3, 265 | IOL | Southlake Carroll

Andrew has an athletic, stout frame, with a lengthy wingspan, looks light on his feet, and is one who is mobile enough with the strength to flatten defenders as he pulls around the edge or up the middle; this guy can make some holes buses could fit through; is very heavy-handed delivering some devasting punches both in the run and passing game. His footwork is excellent, and think Cunningham will be one of the best interior offensive linemen in his class.

Mike Uini (24) OL | Copperas Cove

Mike could very easily rise to the surface as one of the best offensive linemen recruits in his class. He’s got a great athletic ability for a fellow that is as big as he is at 6’8 and nearly 300ilbs. Mike has a devastating punch and can deliver flatting blows to defenders in the run game, and also shows the ability to block out in space or kick out the edge. FBS prospect who will be highly rated, and sought after by many in the near future.
