We cap off our series of the top 2023 invites list to the college campus for visits and junior days by taking one final look at the class of 2023 defensive backs. Here are some of the top prospects that many will be trying to get onto campus in the up and coming months.
Jaden Millner-Jones (23) | 5’11 175 | S | DeSoto
Jaden is a great open-field tackler and can be consistent on the defensive side of the ball. Can be used as sort of a hybrid defender who can come down in the box, rush the passer, or make a TFL and or drop back in coverage and make plays. FBS caliber athlete with 8 Division I offers from schools like UConn, Mississippi State, SMU, and others.
Ryan Ramey (23) | 6′, 170 | DB | Ridge Point
Ridge Point’s Ryan Ramey has stepped foot onto a lot of campuses thus far and is building up momentum for his recruiting; he has made a trip to Waco to visit the Baylor Bears for a visit and game, Arizona also for a game day invite, UofH, and most recently, K-State. Will be taking more trips to more campuses in the near future as well.
Brock Foster (23) | 6’1, *180 | DB | Del Valle
Brock could easily be the next recruit everyone is talking about. A lethal safety with great size, athleticism, ability to cover the field and make the big hits. Brock plays well for Del Valle and is surely one of their playmakers on defense. One player who is flying “under-the-radar” at the moment but possibly not for long.Could be one who passes the eye test as soon as he steps foot onto campus and could raise his recruiting stock on a lot of boards.
Lamodrick Spencer (23) | 6’1 160 | S | Duncanville
Spencer holds 5 Division I offers, he has the big-play ability and can change the momentum of a game, with a devasting hit, a forced fumble, or an interception, which makes it all look easy. Has sprinter speed is dangerous with the football in his hands and can put up points on the defensive side of the ball. FBS prospect with a high ceiling.
Bruce Mitchell (23)| 6’1 180 | S | Frisco
Bruce is a ballhawk on defense and can come with some clutch INTs, His long arms, lengthy frame, give him the ability to keep stride for stride with receivers running downfield, and he can turn his head around to make a play on the football. Recently came of a visit at SMU, and is one recruit many will be trying to get on campuses from now in till the end of this summer.

Abdul Muhammad (23) | 5’9 190 | CB | South Oak Cliff
Abdul is a very physical corner who has a knack for coming up with the football, baiting QBs into throwing his way, and then driving in front of passes to make a play on the football. Abdul has that big-play ability and is also not afraid to lay out ball carriers flying downhill. Brother is an Oklahoma State cornerback, which is one school he could be waiting to receive an offer from. Until then, Abdul has received offers from schools like SMU, TCU, Georgia Tech, and Cal to name a few. The last few visits were to TCU and Texas Tech.
