The University of San Antonio Roadrunners got them selves a commitment from Rouse 2023 quarterback Mason Shorb.
Shorb is a 6-foot-3 one hundred and seventy pound quarterback that can absolutely sling the football.
The first offer was from UTSA for Shorb came after an excellent junior season where he threw for over 3,813 yards passing, 49 touchdowns , 5 interceptions. Was also nearly perfect on the season completeing 210 out of 296 of his passes.
Now Shorb will be taking his talents to the 210 (San Antonio) after a building a great relationship with Coach Will Stein and head coach Jeff Traylor, who personally saw Mason throw in person and were impressed enough to extend their offer.
Mason features a long, lengthy athletics frame and shows an impressive deep ball with accuracy. He can hit receivers in stride downfield and make all of the out routes and throws over the middle of the field. Has a high ceiling for success in college and could possibly be a Sunday type of player after development in college.
